Millholme has been responsible for the repointing of the historic Bradford Grammer School over the last 4 years, the pictures show the front elevation of the school. The mortar used for this repointing project was Natural Hydraulic Lime 3.5, the most suitable for the age and construction of the building, left with a neat and flush, yet slightly roughcast finish, in keeping with the original style and character of this impressive building. Repair works were also carried out to the concrete mullions and jambs as well as the structural pinning works to the parapet. With this being a busy school achieving tight deadlines is essential. The school façade was duly sorted in the 5-week (holiday) time frame specified.
