This grade 1 listed, ‘At Risk’ property, whose roots date back over 500 years, consists of a lodge, further living accommodation, and a chapel. A full repoint was completed, using a pigmented Natural Hydraulic Lime 5 and a sharp aggregate mortar; repair works were also carried out to the rear elevation brickwork panels, to achieve a constant stonework effect. Our work has not only improved the building aesthetically (in line with its Grade 1 listing) but has also ensured it is structurally able to withstand the elements for years to come.
