His professional advice and expertise and choice of materials was applied to the removal of existing render and pointing and cleaning and re-pointing with lime mortar that together with the formation of new openings and replacement of some stone sills has resulted in a first class restoration. Internally the sensitive exposure and cleaning of stonework and structural timber has added to the character of the property.
