Bradford Grammer School
Millholme have been responsible for the repointing of this historic school over the last 4 years, the pictures show the front elevation of the school. The mortar used was Natural Hydraulic Lime 3.5, the most suitable for the age and construction of the building, left with a neat and flush, yet slightly roughcast finish, in keeping with the original style and character of this impressive building. Repair works were also carried out to the concrete mullions and jambs as well as the structural pinning works to the parapet. With this being a busy school achieving tight deadlines really aren’t optional, after all construction work and school children aren’t the best mix. The school façade was duly sorted in the 5-week (holiday) time frame specified.
